What on earth is cold cocking?

Belting, hitting, punching the living suticase, puting him into orbit.

All of the above.

i would have less sympathy for Jake if the umpires actually awarded him (a) the free kicks he deserves (b) only paid the frees against him where he infringes. Where the benefit of any doubt is concerned he doesn't get it from them. Hell, he had a 3 grab mark also not paid on Friday night. If he had held it any longer he could have been drawing a pension. However he will feel the full force of the AFL/MRP etc.

I know I am drawing examples from different seasons - but I can't forget how blokes like Judd (when he threw the elbow back & split Pavlich's cheek open) - can get nothing & Jake faces possibly 5 weeks out of the game for a trip that should have been a free to Milne & I haven't seen the off the ball incident but suggestions is it's not too bad. How many weeks did big bad Barry get for cold cocking Staker ?

C'mon Jimbob. IT'S CHRIS JUDD.

MRP says, "Contact between Carlton’s Chris Judd and Fremantle’s Matthew Pavlich from the third quarter of Saturday’s match was assessed. Contact was below that required to constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken."

Re: Jake King (Merged)

where is RFC_official? any indication the club will be making a complaint to the umpires dept about this rubbish?

Re: Jake King (Merged)

It is getting ridiculous, isn’t it?

Jake King is the only player in the AFL who gets tagged by one of the Umpires in every game that he plays. Not only that, but they resort to every dirty trick in the book to get at him and try to upset his equilibrium.

I thought he showed admirable restraint when that ridiculous free was given against him on the boundary line. He pointed, gave a death stare, bit his tongue, pointed again, raised his hands to stand the mark, shook his head, bit his tongue again and finally, stopped himself thinking dark thoughts and let it all go. Admirable.

Yeah, yeah - I know that. They just never publicised that the Pratt Family, Stephen Kernahan, Jim Buckley & John Elliott would be running the MRP that week. Timing is everything isn't it ?

Jimbob, how could you leave out the Chairman of the AFL, Mike Fitzpatrick?

Out for one week.

Its as expected King gone yet again.
The umps look for any opportunity to give a free kick against him or report him. In the end King will be lost to the game as he is constantly singled out

Re: Jake King (Merged)

Trip was there and 1 week is fair

King is not talented enough to just keep expecting to walk straight in like a star after missing games through suspension. Wouldn't want Maric to suddenly click against Freo. Could and should find himself coming back through Coburg if that happens.

Re: Jake King (Merged)

In summary, due to his poor record, his sanction is increased to a one-match penalty, even with an early plea.

Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the St Kilda Football Club, the incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and body contact (one point). This is a total of four activation points, resulting in a classification of a level one offence, drawing 80 demerit points and a reprimand. He has an existing bad record of five matches suspended within the last three years, increasing the penalty by 50 per cent to 120 demerit points and a one-match sanction. He also has 71.85 points carried over from within the last 12 months, increasing the penalty to 191.85 points and a one-match sanction. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to 143.89 points and a one-match sanction.

Jetta should have got done for staging and Crowley got a reprimand for that offense.

Will walk straight back in no problem. Dimma's love child for some inexplicable reason.
