Will walk straight back in no problem. Dimma's love child for some inexplicable reason.
not inexplicable at all. Gives his all for the team, is defensively strong, listens and puts instruction into action and is a team player. A role player in our 22 just like the coach was himself.

The umps look for any opportunity to give a free kick against him or report him. In the end King will be lost to the game as he is constantly singled out

We've got to be fair, the umpires didn't report him.

As most posters agree, the trip was there and, without Jake's priors, he would have got off with a reprimand and 80 carry-over points. As it is, we just cop our whack and focus on making the Dockers regret they stepped foot on the hallowed turf.

Perhaps it's all those goals and the pressure he contributes on the forward line.

could be wrong tho

All those goals?? 5 for the season, yeah awesome.

I'd be pretty confident that there are at least a couple of others that could apply just as good defensive pressure. Just MO.

Just based on Hardwicks mantra "Must earn your spot".

Kingy does a fair bit of forwards marshaling too. It's not surprise our forward line seems more potent when Jake plays.

I'm confident the coach isn't playing favorites, I have never felt Beavis did that. Players are getting games because the coach believes playing them will give us more chance of making the finals this year.

Re: Jake King (Merged)

dont get too excited just yet everybody ..... the MRP is still investigating one incident according to the article and it did not mention what the incident is sooooooooo maybe.........

Re: Jake King (Merged)

If we kept on criticising Jacko for getting suspended in the past then Kingy needs to cop it as well. He's no good to us sitting in the stands.
I agree with CC as well. When I watched the replay of the game and heard him lipping off and pushing and shoving when Jack had the ball 15 metres out it annoyed me. That's the sort of lack of discipline that costs games.
I love the little garden gnome as much as any Tiger supporter but know when to pull your head in Kingy.

King has played in 20 of our past 21 wins. We've lost 17 out of the last 18 games he's missed. With an eye to Saturday, I hope this is complete coincidence.

Re: Jake King (Merged)

To be honest what he did was totally stupid. he doesn't get many umpiring breaks let alone any from the tribunal. he should not have done it knowing this fact. Judd well he can destroy a guy's face and no suspension but Jake is not Judd in the afl MRP eyes he is at the other end of the sympath scale (that is none whatsoever). No need for him to do that action

With so many cmaeras out there I would not be surprised the AFL don't have one zoomed in on him the whole game.

Spot on SA.

Kingy is too undisciplined to be considered a reliable player for the Mighty Tigers in our way forward.

We all love the romance of the PUSH UP KING, but to be regularly suspended and to get regularly paid 50 metres against him for his undisciplined behaviour is not how our club will want to move forward into glory.

The umpires obviously hate his guts, so would I if I was constantly abused everytime he didn't get his own way, and their decision making is affected by his presence in contests.

The opposition hang it on him to try to get him to do his narna, and they regularly succeed.

Do we really need a loose cannon at our club?

I know he's potentially keeping Matty out of the side, but what happened to supporting our own, rimau?

Whitey will not replace Jake, Addam Maric will.

Irrespective of the dislike you have for one particular Richmond player, as shown through your regular posts about him, you surley must be disappointed every time Jake lets the team down?

I am a huge fan of Jake, but the club is bigger than ANY player, I say again ANY PLAYER, and the club must surely be feeling let down by ANY ONE player, REGULARLY doing the wrong thing that makes it harder for the club to progress to the success that we SUPPORTERS demand.
