Need those pacy opportunists like Yarran, Garland and Betts. Nahas and King maybe not in the same category but we should think long and hard before trading / delisting.

yeah I agree with this . If we could get a small forward like Garland or Betts then King especially would struggle to be in the team imo . However right now he is the best we have and is doing enough to warrant his place in the side.Super9Nova said:

Had a great battle with Johncock but was lowering his colours at half time. Has probably been the truest barometer of our fortunes this season.

Thought Jake was a bit selfish early at times today but worked his way back into the game well and did some good team things which helped lift us when required.

I thought he was good today...the downside was his two misses within a minute in the 2nd. If he kicked those, we would be raving about him IMO. It's a fine line.

Was very suprised he burnt nahas and went for goal, he made up for it though.

Got destroyed by Johncock early but lifted big time in the 2nd half. Masterstroke was with the coaches - moving O'Reilly to do a forward tag on Johncock in the 3rd qtr which then freed up Kingy who again was instrumental in the 3rd qtr comeback. Good coaching.

Improved as the game went on. When he becomes a depth player or has competition for a spot is when we know our team is going places coz atm he is almost a guaranteed starter and watching the way Jake goes about it he would hate someone to take his place. WOuld only be good for him and the team.

The crows have sooked to the AFL, about a tackle that Kingy did on Andy Otten and he has copped a 2 week suspension!
