Jake King

Jake can play a role in the team, and that role is to mark the small forwards, which when he is fit is quite good at. The game where he marked Corey Jones was a joke, but if memory serves Thursty and McGuane were both out so we were really stretched in the backline.

And I am sure that players don't like coming up against nutters like Jake, will always make them think twice which is a good thing.

Get Jake fit again, give him a good run at it and decide then.

stuff the stats hes a downright shocking kick. unforgivable for a small. geez people want to play him as a tagger. how the hell is he going to stop players at what 74kg.
Andrew Krakouer was our best tackler, even at training the big ruckmen would always avoid Krak cause they knew they'd get smashed, so it's not always about how heavy you are.

Weak guys dont do 300 or so push ups and dont break tackles like Jake does. Thats just a non issue. Jake has a low centre of gravity which helps his tackling (which is top notch anyway).
