Bombers offered us pick 24 and 29 for our 15 to use for Stringer
Glad we didn't take that offer
Dogs now interested in Schache
Could have been embarrassing

Will be interesting with Stringer.

Will he learn his lesson and pull his head in and have a long career at Essendon? Or will he do 3 years there and head to a 3rd club after that for 10 games and disappear into suburban footy?

yeah, that sort of scenario. Phil Carman too.
agree, he's good, not as good as Carmen though, but agree. Although training wasn't an issue with Phil.

I reckon he'll lift and do OK for a while then revert to type. But who knows? Reasons for either taking a punt or giving him a miss are both obvious.

I'd be happy to take the risk with stringer, he is A grade player and will come good

Adds another dimension both foward and midfield

Its about winning flags while our A graders are there

I would be too but unless we have ruled him out, his management isn't interested nor is he in the RFC and wants to only play for Essendon then he has painted himself in a corner if the deal can't be struck.

Do the Dogs deal with other parties? His contracted? They have all the Aces even though Connors says his client will not go back.

I expect this to go to Thursday with the Dogs accepting the EFC offer.

He is worth a first rounder and the Dogs can expect a higher pick or more.

Dogs don't want him. They can't have it all their way.

Hate though how both their dads have gone on radio. I guess maybe we might/would do the same to protect our boy!

Funny how Tim Watson found objection with families getting involved ::)
Why? He virtually never commented on Jobe despite a million requests and questions. He knows better than anyone the news organisations use parents to generate steam in stories.

Heard Carlton could have a tilt at Stringer especially if Gibbs goes!
Hope the fax machine doesn't **** itself, there could be a long queue of list managers climbing over one another to get all the last minute deals done.

Talking of Whitey. Still unsigned by Port? Has anyone heard more?

Could end quite sadly for Matt.
Why he is 30 years old and played 153 games , Last 3 years he would have made $1 mil
Very limited footballer and extremely luck to get there and made some coin

Did well
