Why on earth was he playing up forward ? He is the last bloke i would have up there.Comes in as a late replacement for Brown & they play him in Brown's position.Shocking coaching,surely if a forward pulls out dont try & replace him with a defender.Surely Meyer could have came in if they were trying to cover for Brown

I actually thought the move of King to the forward line was worth giving a go. He's quick and generally a good tackler, and therefore I was hopeful he would provide plenty of defensive pressure on the Geelong defenders. I never expected him to kick many goals, although as it turned out he should've kicked one, at least, and his defensive pressure wasn't quite as many may have hoped.

I am not convinced that he won't be delisted at year's end.

To ad to that, this is one the club got right by only offering him a one year deal.

What a fall from grace. I might wait until he is match fit and not playing Geelong before I put a line through his name.

If we can get anything of substance for King, I'd take it. Has shown his best stuff imho.

Don't know why he came in for Brown. He hasn't been performing well since coming back from injury. He needs to go back to the VFL to gain confidence and re-earn his spot in the side.

i like king but he's not the type we really need at tigerland.

we have plenty of smalls and i'd prefer to be playing someone who has the chance of becoming a "quality" small ie. connors, collins etc. than just playing king every week. and he too often gets singled out

trade him at years end for something of more value to us...

Spot on TJ. I said at the start of last season JK is not the type we need at RFC. Sure he's determined and we all love that but another player with questionable disposal skills is not what we want. We need the players with the best skills.
