Pure Gold Michael  :clap

Spoke to a few Bluebaggers over the weekend. They saw a special role for Zantuck at Carlton ....

Fevola's minder.

Rchmond has unsucessfully approached AFL to try and get a rule change that would have allowed Podsiadly to be rookie listed.

Podsiadly is 1 yr to old for mature age rookie listing because he has previously been on an AFL list. However, richmond approached AFL because Podsiadly was only ever on a rookie list with pies in 2002, however was unsucessful in their approach.

Podsiadly has been training with the tigers and Wallace has hopes of turning him into a mobile defender (even though he kicked 66 goals in 16 games for Werribee this season).

Only way he will end up with us now is via PSD. Provding Wallace thinks he is worth a punt.

Well done Terry, thinking outside the box. Even it was knocked back good to see us trying non conventional methods to get better.

So if it is OK for Essendon how come it isn't for everyone else.... ?

I now it is special consideration, but well, I don't know.....

Don't think anyone would begrudge the Bummers the opportunity to slip Rama to the rookie list considering his circumstances.
Would expect the same for Lonergan if he was outside the general parameters for rookieing a player.
Both these guys are exceptional circumstances, not just someone who has been tried but didn't quite make it as in Pods case.

I'd hope if we had a player in similar circumstances that other clubs would be accepting.
Good luck to Rama.

I-Pods is just a good, mature aged VFL player, who plays FF from week to week on 19 year old kids that AFL clubs are trying to groom.
