We should keep Schulz and Meyer. They are not playing well enough to earn a high second rounder and given that they are both still young and still developing, far better that we keep them and develop them at Richmond, than stand back and watch them mature and succeed in SA..
Gaspar, Hartigen, Hall, Howat, Johnson, Kingsley, Knoble and Moore will leave and have no trade value. King will be elevated leaving us 33 players, 1 vet and possibly 2 rookies, before we bring anyone in.
Pretty much everyplayer on our list accept for Deledio and Richo is available at the right price.
Mobile talls should be a target in the trade period.
Maybe Moran and Wood will be targets with offers made to both. One in the pre-season and one by trade would be an excellent result.
1. Krakouer and d/p 52 to North for Moran;
2. Draft picks 2, 18, 20 and 36 in the draft and
3 Wood in the pre-season,
Which would give us 33 players plus Moran, Wood and draft picks 2, 18, 20 and 36 - Krakouer, i.e. 38 players plus 1 vet and room for 3 new rookies.
It would be great to have the first rd pick and great to have another in the top 10 but after Carltons action today, which amounts to throwing the game, :blah we clearly aren't go to get Kruezer and don't have the players, around 24 or 25, who could allow us to trade into another top 10 pick.
