You can bag him all you like but he has a better track record than one of the most overated players in the AFL:- Nathan Brown!!!!
Are you sure about that?

Player--- MT-----K----H-----D-----Avg---M--Avg-T---Avg-FF---FA---G--Avg--B----SC------Rat--Avg
J Farmer 249 1988 888 2876 11.6 728 2.9 399 1.6 178 257 483 1.9 285 3183 14114 56.7
N Brown 206 2599 1137 3736 18.1 1036 5 245 1.2 130 116 333 1.6 246 2244 16188 78.6

Given in effect he was basically sacked, I think we should see if he's available.
We could get him for free, without giving up any draft picks or players, and sign him to a minimum 1 year term.
It's a no lose situation.
It will also free up Nathan Brown to play in the midfield, where surely he'll want to be playing with a good pre-season under his belt.

Was a very dangerous small foward,

But i could'nt stand some of the goal celebrations,

Especially the fist pumping up into the crowd,

When your 50 points behind, ::)

There's no "I" in farmer but if you look close enough there is a "me"

Took a fair mark against us once too, Bunny.

Yes, true, but at least he didn't sit on one of our players backs....It was good old Gazza Lyon who was the step ladder. Hmm, come to think of it, I think Gazza was the step ladder for Shaun Smith too
