Jet Jackson?

Hasn't really had a chance to settle in a position yet.  A bit like Rayzor earlier on, Jacko has been used to fill gaps where needed due to his versatility.

Dan will be an important player in our new era of youthful success.

Raines and Polo had long apprenticeships at Coburg and it hasn't harmed them. Keep up the hard work Dan and the rewards will follow.

I don't agree Rosy, I reckon he's gunna make an good utility, his versatility, gap filling as you put it, will be a strength.

I think his versatility is a real bonus too.

It's funny isn't it? They say you can't turn an athlete into a footballer, but you can turn a footballer into an athlete. Is Jacko one of these?

In all honesty he's going to struggle. When you consider that we're likely to recruit another key forward in this years draft there's not really going to be a spot for him. Even if we don't draft a forward he's struggling. Petts, Cleve, Patto, Richie, JON, Lids, Meyer, Krak and maybe Limbach will all spend time forward and are better footballers. Jacko makes way too many mistakes and thwarts a lot of forward entries with his turnovers. Terry hates this type of player and if his decision making doesn't improve I can't see him being persisted with for that much longer. Just the reality of where we're headed as a club.

For me Jacko will get a lot of chances because he is the type of utility player Wallace wants.  Maybe he will only be a bit player filling a different role each week.  Still that isn't bad.  Exactly why we recruited Pat Bowden.

Give him another year at least and lets hope he goes from strength to strength.  A good utility is a coaches dream.

i have actually been thinking about jackos future at RFC for the past few weeks. He's on a 1 year contract and has been in and out without securing himself a permanent spot. Do people think he will get another contract?

thanks guys
