Killing the Bumheads at 3rd gear. Best thing about this game is Castagna's mo.

Castagna, exciting and frustrating to watch at times.
I'm hoping he's going to be more consistent this season.

Hi guys scores / best players .. thanks :)

The Team touted as a true Grand Final contender this year: 5.7.37
The Team people think will struggle to back it up this year: 19.10.124

It was like we were having an uncontested praccie match against witches hats.

We won by 87 points, 19.10 (124) to 5.7 (37).
Rested our star players for the 4Q
Nank play a quarter and Astbusy about half a gain.
Both got knocks to the head but nothing serious.

#lolnorf next week.

It was like that especially the third quarter. We were taking the *smile* out of them.

The usual suspects were good ie Dusty, Cotchin, JR, Flossy, Caddy etc. Of the lesser lights, Garthwaite showed plenty of poise down back, C. Ellis was good, he tackled well. Bolton looked dangerous and kicked 3 goals.

The media clowns out there will say stuff like “oh, the bombers were without 4 of their best players, and, it wad 30degree heat blah blah blah”....
We were without 3 of our good premiership players, we played in the same conditions, we lost Nank early, followed by Astbury...
We also on,y play at 3/4 pace.......
And the band just keeps playin.......Go Tigers!!!

We are a top 2 side currently
Essendon a team any where 6-12
Did what good sides do against teams think they can match it against the real teams.
Rich minds best players today were Begley, Goddard and Langford.

How good were the kids? Carthwaite, Bolton and chol ???

This a far far different Richmond than I've been used to for 30+ years. Supremely confident performance, if a bit rusty and sloppy at times. Chol is a bag of carrots.

Corey Ellis my highlight. All the kids were lively.

That was fun

Yep, same for me. Looked harder at the contest and clean. If only he had that little more explosiveness off the mark and a little more zip. He is classy, just lacks abit of of that power needed for AFL level.

Jack Graham played very well. In the 2nd half (when Cotch and Dusty were resting) his tackling and pressure was superb.
