PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Dale Weightman and other Richmond Football Club personalities invite you to join the 2006 Walk to Cure Diabetes on Sunday, October 15 at Albert Park.  The Tigers Walk Team is raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and need as many of our supporters as possible, sporting Yellow and Black attire, to walk with them in support of this great cause.

To be a part of the Richmond Football Club’s Walk team, simply click on the following link and register your details. Please ensure when registering to select ‘Corporate Team Member’ and register with Richmond Football Club under ‘Team Weightman’    http://walk.jdrf.org.au/default.asp

On the day of the event all registered walkers should meet at the Richmond Football Club marquee at 9am and the first 180 walkers will receive a free  Tiger cap and bottle of Powerade for the walk ahead. This marquee is located in the Village Area on Aughtie Drive. As an added bonus all Richmond walkers who participate on the day will go into a draw to win two (2) tickets to an MCG home game and tickets to the Official President’s Function, plus dressing room access in 2007.

Even if you are unable to join us for the walk, please sponsor team captain Dale Weightman or another walker under the Richmond Football Club team. Simply click on  http://walk.jdrf.org.au/default.asp
and select ‘Sponsor Participant’, then follow the steps.

Together we will give Type 1 diabetes the boot!

I have decided to do this and wear my PRE top, it would be great if other people had the time and decided to do it as well.
