JON to Play

TW must think the dons have a small fast team!
But isn't that exactly the point? Essendon are slow - makes

sense to try and run them off their feet. It's been a long time since a tiger outfit

started to look somewhat quick and we were definitiely faster than carlton last

week. Now if only we could kick and think.

Lets have a Captain Cook round so the following can make their debuts despite their form:
Casserly,White,Mcguane,Limbarch.

what have you got against Howat and Graeme pal?  >:(

are you prejudiced against them just because they're rookies?
Rookies deserve games too.
people think because they are rookies that they don't count, and have feelings, and deserve respect and recognition.

WELL THEY DO !!!!

Form. People are talking about form now all of a sudden, but there is more to "form" than what us laymen perceived from a game at Coburg. Players are no doubt under instructions on how they are expected to play, areas they need to develop, team orientation and oh yeah training track form.

Just maybe JON has excelled in one or more of those areas, not just and they have taken this into account not just his "form at Coburg"

Bout time we got behind the decision and wished the kid luck.

I don't know anything about JON's ability. I sincerely hope he's been picked on merit. I hope he puts in a blinder but I'm afraid I don't share Rosie's blind faith in the RFC selection committee. After seeing the way AK has had an armchair ride I suspect that there is an element of PC creeping into this club.

Sure having a young black recruit debut on Saturday adds to the event and has PR entertainment value but is it the best way to win the match tomorrow night? Sorry for being old fashioned but this is my major concern. A footy club's number one prority is to win games not TV ratings.

Anyway good luck to both the new guys on Saturday night. It is definitely a positive to see new faces on the field.

Congratualtions Boys!!! Prediction - Polo will stay in the team for the remainder of the year - he has the desire, heart, and motor.

He had a pretty awesome beep test at draft camp. I wouldn't imagine he's got worse since then. Always thought his stamina was pretty good.

Does he have the burst of speed though?
