Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Meh.

Would rather have drafted a good kid in the deep draft.

Yet another plodder at RFC. My Geelong mates will be ecstatic.

So our first pick in this year's draft is 27. Unless we get something better for Deledio?

Will have to watch some vids on Caddy, have never really noticed him.

Absolute bargain.

Pick 24 & 64 for Caddy and pick 56.

Another addition to our midfield.

From footage I've seen he has a big boot on him? Looks more damaging than Moore, Townsend etc.

Better than Moore and Townsend? No doubt.

But we don't exactly set the bar high do we.

Have we got an aversion to selecting gun young mids in this deep draft? Are we the only club that doesn't rate it?

Genuine good piece of business.

24, 64 and 46.

Turned into Caddy, Nankervis and 56.

That's pretty good. Perfect age profile.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

id say we are done and dusted for 2016.

A proor 2017 might see Cotch, Jack and even Rance on the table for a true rebuild??? Need to think ahead.

You're not at all concerned about our lack of presence in this very deep draft chock full of midfielders?

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

What a stupid trade.

What is actually our plan? Load up with mature aged Midfielders, trade out our forward line and our draft picks, so we can half rebuild, half challenge and ultimately do nothing?

I would have much rathered if we had loaded up in this draft. Particularly since we've decided to trade out Deledio to the guys who will be smashing the entire competition for the next 5 years.

We're trying to cram open our window with a crowbar, whilst helpfully chocking open the giants' one.

Plus Caddy is an ineffective, one paced plodder.

Oh well. Welcome to Tiger land. I really hope I'm wrong, and he's about to break out. It's possible, but I don't see it.

Outstanding deal this one! I was hugely against Lids for Caddy straight swap but to get Caddy in for a pick in the mid 20s is outstanding.

Well played RFC! And welcome to the club Josh!

Welcome Josh. He is more then depth in the middle, with him & Prestia our midfield is looking good. Plus Josh can go forward & kick a goal

X2

Caddy had a very good year last year, less so this year, he's a strong bull with excellent endurance, read somewhere he is 2nd to Blivaks at Cats. We need some depth in the middle, add another draft pick along with Cellis making gains and this should be the best depth and quality of midfield we've had in years

Just thinking the same.

Well done to RFC pulling those two trades off.
Funny how Geelong said Caddy was never on the table for the Lids deal ???
