I think he must be the only cast off there hasn't been a thread about us signing.

He'll be feeling left out. Better add him too. ;)

A brief article in The Age says that he has retired.
Oh, then he must be going to Essendon with Aussie Jones and Matthew Knights.

a great player, struck down with a knee injury in his prime

lets not forget he came 2nd and 3rd in the brownlow medal in 2001 and '02, plus an AA representative.

a dirty player on-field, but i would've loved to have seen him in yellow and black, minus the injuries of course.

Agree Otis. Was a super player with great ball-winning ability. Used it pretty well too. A real shame that injuries stuffed his career & caused him to miss out on a premiership.

Rumour: Monkhorst to Windy Hill Rioli to Celebrity 'Biggest Loser' (I have nothing against fat people)

Agree, a genuine hard nut prepared to put his head over the footy and take what he could also deal out.

Copped plenty of crap regarding the hair ad's, but it didn't phase him personally. Would be an excellant addition as a midfield coach and / or a player for the Burgers, but I believe that the North Adelaide Roosters have already got the deal.
