Josh Fraser??

Scumwood will have to trade Fraser or Didak or some other high profile players if they want to get Judd under their salary cap, as well as offload Licuria, Rhyce Shaw, Scott Burns or someone else, esp if Buckley decides that he wants another year with Judd at his side.

Thing is, other clubs will know this and will want younger players who they can't trade because offloading their salaries won't help much.

Bit of a conundrum really. I think all Collingwood can achieve is to p!ss off a few players who they will have to try to mend bridges with later.

If the hype about WC wanting Morton is true then either Carlton must trade pick 1, in which case we will get Kruezer, or for Pick 2 for which we should demand Fev and pick 3, (and throw in Cleve.)

If Carlton trade their number-1 to WC for Judd....then surely WC would get Kruezer, and not us.
They would have Cox, Seaby, and Kruezer.....and in a couple of years when Kreuzer is ready, they would trade Seaby, and have Cox/Kruezer combination.

Also, not up with all the intricate rules....but what pick aren't Carlton allowed to trade?
I thought a team that was so bad that it had a priority, wasn't allowed to trade that priority pick....is that rule still going? or?

Lets get all the bickies on the table pick 2 Cogs and kraks for Jud
then see who can come to us with real players for pick 2
not part time wannabee ruckmen
come on tigers lets make this bit of good fortune work for us for a change

Not sure how that belief started, but there are no restrictions on trading National Draft picks, including priority picks.

In the past, clubs had to obtain AFL permission in order to trade a priority pick, which Fremantle apparently sought and obtained when it traded #1 for Croad & McPharlin in 2001. I'm pretty sure the 'AFL permission' requirement has been scrapped.

Buckley should retire - looks past it to me. Would help the Pies cap out enormously too I would think.

He's a vet though. Moving on one of Didak or Fraser would still be necessary.

8 pages of josh bloody fraser. enough . its doing my head in. we have enough of our own soft squibs without getting other clubs. enough i say.

but you lot know greg i drafted carey miller (Read that on another thread quite funny and apt.) is in charge of deals this is what does my head in. with miller there i can see him doing such a deal just for the sake of it.

Andy Maher on SEN has just said Fraser is set to sign a 3 year deal with the Pies.

Thank god for that.

He was NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, on the table.

Infact I would not be shocked to see Fraser appointed skipper of the Pies even if Bucks stays on one more year.
