Judd a demon.....

I believe that the matter of Judd's services may still be competitive. I don't reject the idea that it's down to two clubs.

So at a wild guess Collingwood's offer is 5, 14 and Brown.

Melbourne can offer 4. And whatever they get for Johnstone- at worst say Geelong would be mad not to offer #16 or so for him given where they're at. So say 5 and #16. Suppose they get #12.

At that rate Melbourne would still need to find something. #23 or whatever wouldn't swing it, you'd reckon. Brown would be big currency in this deal.

This is being negotiated right now. What names are about to appear in the rumours?

Can one club trump the other by upgrading #4 or #5 at the last minute? When is the last minute? No active party wants this matter still open on the last day of trading. Maybe even the second last.

Hutchison apparently announced at a function today that Judd would announce a preference for Melbourne on Monday.

I'll believe nothing until it comes direct from Judd's mouth.

Same here, but would love a little bit of romance to be back in footy with him going to Melbourne. Lets hope the football gods are watching. :)
 
he will be a demon....but that will be only reliant on what the demons offer the eagles...so still a long way to go...

That is why I think he would be crazy to announce anything until the actual trade week.

He needs his preferred club to go hard in the bidding war with the Eagles so that it has a good chance of getting up - otherwise his preferred club might think "hey we are his preferred club - let's down grade the offer just a little cos we know we can" - and then because of this it might not get up at all - and so Judd ends up where he may not have wanted as his 1st preference. :headscratch

Like you Feisty - I'd love to think he'd go to the Demons cause they are his first love. But hey, this is business and that's why I'd still put him at the Blues because King Richard can make all Judd's career plans come true (and his green aspirational ones as well)
 
Eagles haven't got as much power in this deal as they would like us to believe!, at the end of the day, they need to accept one of these deals, even if it's not as much as they really want, otherwise they get nothing!!
