Miller said Travis Johnstone was to old so I doubt they will go after Bolton who is roughly the same age.

The number of 30yr old retirements this year was astounding.
It seems players are now considered in their prime from about 22-26 and everything after that is a lesser return.
Players around 28-32 have virtually zero value at the trade table. That's making clubs think hard about their listed senior players and where they are placed on the premiership clock.
You almost need to start trading players on the tail end of their peak when they are at their greatest value or you are unlikely to get much for them after that.

I don't really see the point in the fans taking note of it. I do see the point in the club's administration taking note of it though.

Bolton, a bash and crash midfielder has had five years of top line A grade football. Add in finals and it is close to five and a half seasons over the time. Hard nosed bash and crash style, it has too have a impact on the body. This year saw his possessions drop to a five year low and he is out of contract. A really good lesson in list management, sell when there is some value. Don't hold on to blokes for so long that everyone else cottons on the fact that they are useless.
We could take note of this situation and use to great affect instead of holding onto the Andrew Krakouers of the world for seven seasons.
