Emailed to me this morning was the latest version of Richmond Football Club's Jungle Beat (more like a slight rustle in the short grass these days!)

Of the 5 news stories -

3 are about Richo
1 is Foley talking about Richo amoung other things
1 about a Mother's Day game in 1991.

I get the impression we are a ONE MAN TEAM..............

I don't read it much now. It really seems to be an advertising ploy for the RFC site. The articles are only links to the RFC site, there isn't much there that isn't on the RFC site and we know the teams long before Jungle Beat arrives. I find the RFC site too slow, and usually trust that anything of importance will be posted on PRE anyway.

I get the impression the supporters & members are taken for granted and for complete fools.

Absolute spin putting any positives that can be contrived. Nothing whatsoever, no reassurance at all, from the President or the Board on the club's direction through the current crises.

The club is rudderless.

I quite enjoy the members section Rawlings doesn't pull any punches about the performances at Coburg.

Yes, I would agree with that. The comment this week on Dan Connors for example

That's still the RFC site though, rather than Jungle Beat, isn't it?

Yep, it's not worth reading it anymore. I hope the RFC has stats that advise them of open rates, clicks to member section etc. If they do I would imagine the Jungle Beat is in for a re-design for next year.

I just thought it was interesting that he used: flashy brilliance, costly errors and lack of defensive aspect all in the one sentence.
Yep, that just about sums up Daniel Connors. A waste of talent would be another way of summing him up.
