Juniors to watch in 2011.

know the bussey boy well

Oh yeh!

Bussey is their other key forward, who's up there too.

As I recall, Bussey's a bit skinnier than Patton.
And I think they're playing Bussey up the ground this year, whereas last year Patton & Bussey were a regular FF / CHF combination.

Where did you get this info from Phanto? It is summarised perfectly for posting on PRE but the only place I can find for the info is the Sporting Pulse website and it doesn't collate it like this.
I would post each weekends results if I could find it in the above format.

Cheers

Just going through each match.

Highlighting, copying, pasting, deleting unnecessary stuff.

Takes time, I know.

Are there any kids in the father/son category that we could pick up?

None for us by the looks of it.

POTENTIAL FATHER-SONS
Carlton: Dylan Buckley (Vic Metro).
Son of Jimmy, the midfielder has already been signed by the Blues.

Sydney: Tom Mitchell (WA).
Son of Barry, will play in the WA midfield. Won't play much, due to injury.

Hawthorn: Tom Curran (Vic Metro).
Son of Peter, will play either key forward or back for Metro. A potential first-round pick.

Essendon: Tom Fields (Queensland).
Son of Neville. Not quite good enough last year. Has improved, playing in both key back and forward roles. Will play as a 19-year-old over-ager.

Collingwood: Jackson Starcevich (Queensland).
Son of Craig, a fairly raw key position prospect. Will play as a tall forward.

Here's an article I wrote on 17 year-old Brad Crouch from the North Ballarat Rebels for the Rebels website.

Not overly happy with how the article panned out but hopefully it sheds some light on this young kid who will likely be traded in the upcoming GWS mini-draft.

Dalgleish is certainly one to watch for. Haven't seen him mentioned in any mock drafts but he is one of the quickest players I have ever seen at TAC Cup level. Have seen him out run 2-3 opponents in one piece of play many times, even when they start ahead of him.

Still very slight but would be a perfect late pickup. Can kick a goal and his disposal is good.

BF Mock Draft has us taking Buntine at 12. If we have pick 10 then all of Tyson, Greene, Buntine, Kavanagh were all available. (Went 10-13 in that order)
Would be pretty stoked if that happened on draft day.

The guy I really like this year is Devon Smith. Although small he is a very quick and powerful rover who kicks goals, which is exactly what we need. A very similar type to Dion Prestia who went at No.9 last year.

What's his details

First pick = best available regardless of size.

We dont have the depth in our squad to overlook 'A grade' talent based on a players size.
