There are a few players who seem out of favour at their particular clubs and maybe we should be looking at them.
First off the rank is Ken McGregor who is 194cm, 93kg and 25YO, McGregor played the first 19 games this season and then was dropped, very good contested mark and could probably fill our void at CHB. Has the ability to also go forward and kick a goal. Adelaide Advertiser quotes that AFC may be looking at trading him.
Chris Bryan had a very good debut year at Carlton but only played 4 games this year, booming left foot kick and quite a good mark. Would make a great back up ruckman or perhaps CHF. 197cm, 100kg and 24 YO.
Brent Staker is a very versatile player and after playing 22 games has been overlooked for the finals. A more than handy type at 196cm, 89kg, 22 YO and quite athletic.
There is also a guy on the rookie list at West Coast by the name of Beau Wilks who is 20 Yo, 194cm, 93kg who was named captain of the WAFL Colts State team in 2004. He is a key position backman but I don't know a lot more about him, maybe someone in WA does.
Anyway as I said just a few thoughts.
