This is not my idea but I thought it was fun off AFLHQ

A "player" gets seriously injured for a year and a masterpeice of Public Realtions the club draws a membership number out the hat for a replacement. Its Yours. This is done to get over/under the salary cap.

What position would you play and who would you replace.

me. Half back Flank and Posisibly Matty Rodgers . But I am certain I would need a years notice before I were anywhere fit enough to play

I'd replace Dragga, 'cos when I was playing footy I used to get injured at training, let alone in a game. I tore my ACL once too, and I 'm a dead ringer for Dragga as well. Very difficult to tell us apart ;D

I'd only replace him once though.

Triple sorry about that - not sure what happened. Can you help rosy?

How many career threatening injuries has Dragga had. If it three then you get to replace him three times.

Looks wise I would only be able to replace Micky Martin if he played for the Tigers

Kayne Pettifer last season. (No molesting me now TG ;D)
I'd try to emulate myself on who got the most bench time. I'd need all Danny will give me.
Then again Dragga and Dutchy might be appropriate seeing I outdo them in the knee op dept.
I've been putting off my next operation cos they are so costly, time consuming and painful.
Get me into the team quickly.
The club can pay my hospital costs and Dunc can be my personal physio. ;D
I played a few games in a ladies team when I lived in Camperdown, but positions were non existant then. More like an under 14's game where the whole team follows the ball around.
I would say I was a specialist giggler in the team.

I'd replace Mills. I only have to get one kick a game to earn my spot in the side, I get to booze up, headbutt cops and I also get to have lots of holidays in the Magoos.

Millsy will prove you all wrong this year if spudnik F will give him some decent game time in a fixed position.Newman and Hyde would benefit from the same treatment. And like I've posted somewhere here before it's hard to look good in a team that plays as badly as we did last year. That's why everyone is so excited about 'Cogs'.
Go Millsy!

Oh yeah and I'd play in the forward pocket and replace whoever was there that refused to stick around to crumb!! That and the fact I dont like running much means that's the spot for me.
Having said all this I'd like to say I'd be much more value off the field if the things our boys have done over the years are any indication. ;) ;D 8) :-X

Forward pocket: Don't have to be super fit and not a bad snap for goal on my left. As for my right foot I would make duncan look like a good kick ;D.

Is there anyone amongst us about 7' tall? Athletic? Reliable ruckman or key position forward? Usually a strong mark? Dead-eye *smile* kicking for goal? .....mild mannered, polite, incredibly handsome? Oh I digress, but it would be good if someone could fill the big no 5 jumper for a few weeks.
Go Tiges.
