I read the same theme at times like this.sack the coach,sack the development staff,sack the living bejeezuz out of the club.Yes I seen the game Sunday,I was disappointed as well but hey!nothing Im gonna say will improve the situation.All Im gonna say is I love the club and there is a chance that the team might actually start playing some good footy and get a few wins under the belt.Its an intangible thing that magic ingredient.Confidence and self belief. And a bit of passion for the jumper.I blame the media and all the people who put an huge expectation on the tigers in the first place when Cuz was signed up.Thats why I posted before the season about being scared.History has been by far my greatest teacher in my life.My advice?.....Let the season pan out then make a judgement then.Not now after 3 games.What can be achieved anyway? In my life I have THRIVED on people believing in me which helped me to believe in myself.Our players may well benefit from that piece of philosophy.I say again there is 19 games left.....a lot can happen then! Its just my humble opinion...bag me out if yas want to. :-[ And for the record I loved richo on Monday.....he never stopped trying....

Just been reading some other threads. There is talk of disunity at the club, but if we supporters keep referring to "this rubbish team", and saying things like "What do you expect? We're hopeless and always will be" we are showing disloyalty and disunity with our beloved club. We can't play the game for them but we should close ranks and support them as we've always done. That's our job, and if we're not doing that well - in good times and bad - we can't criticise them when they also fold under pressure.

Constructive criticism is fine; but the blanket slagging and despair I've seen will just lower morale (among ourselves and ultimately, among the players and rest of the club - it is catching).

One PRE'er has the slogan "Winners never quit; Quitters never win". Well, we're winners (albeit in disguise), not quitters. Let's all draw breath, regroup, forget where others are or what the papers are saying. Our season starts on Sunday.

But geez the old Terry Towelling looked pretty gaunt on the front (& back) of the Hun the other day!
He's aged something shocking.

I too, hope they can turn it around.
Just the skill errors really worry me. They are getting more consistent with them..The errors that is. Continually miss targets etc. Need a win and quick. You can only blame the coach if his style of play does not match the personnel and their capabilities. The coach cannot kick the goals. I am willing to give Wallet a bit more space but by cripes if we drop a game to the "Melbourne no names" I feel he may be " G A W N !!!"

I agree. If we are a strong supporter base we should stop saying... "blame these players....", "sack the coach."
We need to stick together and hope that when the boys get confidence that we can make a surge for the finals. It is a hard task coming from 0-3 but it is not completely out of the question. Our boys always seem to play better footy when we have won games and have the confidence in their abilities.

I will be there on Sunday to watch our first of many wins this season.

Will support whoever coaches us and whoever dons the jumper week to week. But I will be a critical as the next man when they don't deliver.

I reckon you are right.
It's too easy sucked in by the recent past - good or bad.
When we finished last year off by winning 8 from 11 - it didn't mean we would continue at that rate.
Losing the first 3 of this year doesn't mean we're going to lose them all.

I'm sorry but Terry will have had 5 years come the end of the season and if we do not make the 8 and win a final he has to go.
I love my club and and am sick of going to watch us go down every week.
We need change.

The tone for the season was unfortunately set in the 1st round and the team do not seem to have recovered from it. Terry knows it's finals or bust this year, he said it before the season started. That's why he's making poor decisions and panicking. It doesn't explain why in nearly 5 years the players under his charge have not improved their skills or decision making.
