Can't agree more felix - it's all great to have the boys back playing footy but like them they want to get into the real deal. At least it gives the club a time to find out which players really want to step up for the 1st round.

nah, not in a huge rush just yet. it's a-league finals time and i'm making the trip to adelaide on saturday. i'm so excited... like a pig in sh!t!

Disagree. This is the greatest off-season in Tiger history. So much hope!

Oh I dunno about that. We've had hope before. And we all know what usually follows. My fingers and toes are crossed.

In fact, I'm nervous about Rnd 1. Last year, the media spent the pre-season camped at Princes Park making sure they caught Judd's every fart on camera. And they went into Rnd 1 dead certs & sure they were on the verge of a big season ... only to be well beaten by a fully focussed Richmond. See any parallels in this story for 2009? God bless Setanta for the distraction!

Reckon our game against Cartoon will be a redhot ballbreaker.
Both teams improved last year and have a bunch of young players likely to consolidate as quality senior players.
Both clubs would be demanding a serious tilt at a finals spot for 09.
Think anyone expecting a walkover in game one has rocks in their head.
