The more i see Richmond, the more i have come to the conclusion that Terry Wallace has lost his way. When he first started coaching he let the bulldogs play footy with not much of a game plan, put simply he just let them play. As long as the dogs kicked more goals than the opposition and played an exciting brand of footy everything was fine. He lost the plot when the doggies beat essondon when they were seemingly unbeatable. He changed his whole coaching philosopy there and then. His coaching record since that day is ordinary. He has outsmarted himself. i have heard from people close to him, that he has made too many rules on the field, and the players now are too scared to make a mistake. Why doesnt he go back to being a basic coach and not someone who is trying to redefine the game. Terry let the players start enjoying there footy again, i can see from a mile that they dont. BTW, Terry whatever happened to the 16 to 18 goals a game statement. You are a good coach Terry but start getting back to what made you that. Richmond players are bored with your current game plan.Stop believing in your own publicity and get back to what you did best.

I have absolutely no problem with the amount of goals we are scoring. TW is promoting an attacking brand of footy it is just unfortunate that our players tend to burn the ball a bit much. The fact that we have scored more goals than the Demons, Roos,Swans, Lions, Hawks and Crows despite being without a win show we are attacking.

Discipline is a needed to be a premiership team just have a look at the Swans. I don't give a stuff whether they enjoy the game or not, they aren't kids, they are adults earning a considerable wage at my expense-they can bloody well earn their wage as far as I'm concerned. I know I earnt the money I paid for membership and didn't particularly enjoy it.

I don't think TW has lost his way, I just think that we were at a lower base than what he expected when he took over. He has inherited a shitpile and it will take time to clear out all of the dead wood.

That's all well and good Tambo man but why does Mr Wallace allow soft players like Pettifer escape scrutiny. If he inherited such a sh*tpile why doesn't he clear the sh*t players?

How did you poll of all the Richmond players go? What were the results?

You know I've found 95.7% of posts like yours are made up, with no factual basis whatsoever, just a truckload of assumptions. Until you can prove this type of comment (ie like with a quote from a player) you probably should stick to just criticism of the style.

Umm because he doesn't agree with a bunch of whinging dills on an internet forum. Could that be the reason? Hmm ... maybe.

Personally, I'm glad he doesn't listen to you.

You still have to replace the players getting the axe with those who have more upside. It would be pointless to give Pettifer the bullet unless the kid who we were going to draft at 84 in the national draft showed that he would be a better replacement. Given that quite a few teams had passed at this stage then I doubt pick no 84 was ever going to be a gun.

TW is whittling away and gradually bringing balance back to the team, I don't think the 2011 call by Terry is that far from the mark, as long as we get good early draft picks now.

Krack, you can't seriously believe Terry just gives Petts a pat on the back after a game and hopes for better next week? I doubt any player "escapes scrutiny" from Terry, let alone his teammates - that's the very nature of the game these days................

If I was to say that you were not much of Frawely fan, this whole piece is a major contradiction. But, according to what you have said, Spud should have received an extra 3 years?
