Just when you think you've heard it all.... [Merged]

Our midfield has pathetic tonight.

I couldnt understand why Nathan Brown didnt remain in the midfield. Maybe he got too much of the ball when played in the midfield.

I heard Dunny Frawley prior to the game on the radio saying that Cogs was a slight chance for next week.

There is no way Duncan Kellway should be playing in the seniors. Too old, too slow, should retire.

Duncan was a great player for Richmond. One of the most courageous players I have ever seen. But he has played a game in 3 years. We need to look forward not back.

Agreed Thomas - I have a lot of respect for Duncan's courage but he is not the future of the Richmond Football Club.

Its time to play some of the fringe players and give them game time to see if they are worth perservering with.

I think that the club through Greg Miller needs to tell Frawley he can coach until the year is out but he is going to have to play some of the young fringe players to see if they show something and let the club make an assessment of whether these players can cut it at AFLlevel.

These players would include - Morrison, Pettifer, Schulz, Tuck, Roach, Weller, Dragicevic etc.

Drag fan VERY HARSH duncan was a fighter for our club and i'm told he put his hand up for match payments a few years back after his injuries that shows devotion to the club and the gernzy if you ask me. Thats alot more than most of the others,at least you no he'l put his head over the ball. Though I do agree that youth is the answer and we need to celebrate duncs career and send him off with respect that he deserves.

morrison, pettifer weller ,will be very very lucky to be playing afl next year

Youre probably right. They will possibly join Dunk, Rogo, Houlihan, Nichols, Fletcher, Hilton, Marsh etc etc.

But a player like Morrison deserves some game time. He has showed a bit in the few games that he has played so far. He presents and will give a contest. He can't perform worst than what Brad Ottens is doing at CHF. Our season is over, so why not give him the last 11 games to see whether he can play either in attack or defence.

I would rather give a player like Morrison a go for the purpose of making an assessment of hime rather than bringing Dunk back in to play the last few games of what has been a couargeous and serviceable career.

Not harsh at all, I wasnt attacking Dunc, but playing him now is a waste of time. We would be far better off getting another 10 games experience into Tuck, Moore, Hartigan, Schulz and Co.

Adding Duncan to a team that already has the worst skills i've ever witnessed at AFL level, is only going to make things worse.

Didn't say I wanted to play him just didn't want to attavk one of the very few blokes with heart at the rfc . Cheers anyway mate not here to *smile* you off beleive me I'm just as disapointed as you are

You are right. It would be like pouring kerosone onto the fire to bring Kellaway and Rogers back into the team because they probably have the worse disposal skills down at the club.

That's a big call considering how woeful our skills are now in the senior team.

Rogers was a good player he's got old thats all .If you remember 97 98 he kept us off the bottom( COULD HAVE BEEN A BAD THING)If I was in charge down there every younge bloke would be given the rest of the season in the seniors and a chance to have a dip.

I have a lot or respect for both Rogers and Kellaway. They have nbeen fantastic players for the Richmond football club. But no one could ever accuse them of having any great skill in their kicking.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Frawley, its the 6th of June and its your D (dud) Day!!!

D is for Danny. D is for Delusional, Dumb, Dud.

He thinks Dunc and Rogers are still the same players they were when he arrived 5 years ago. He is truly clueless!!!!

When will he just admit that he has lost the plot and do everyone at RFC a favour and go graciously back to Bungaree.

look at the bright side , bringing dunc and rogers back improves our chances of hanging onto that priority pick..

Would also like to see Nicholls and Houlihan given the chance they truly deserve...

Time to get all the young inexperienced players on the paddock and give them maximum game time regardless of the scoreboard(it cant getany worse).
If we get some work into them it will help to asses them for next year and keep out the duds like hilton and hoolihoop and the guys that are past it like Dunc and Rogo.
