Re: Welcome Kamdyn McIntosh at pick 31

So after reading the response here I hope this guy is a smokey.

I will look forward to what Shifter says shortly.

Re: Welcome Kamdyn McIntosh at pick 31

Just watched his highlight reel, he looks impressive, can kick either side of his body and apparently runs all day. Can see him starting in the backline and working his way to wing/midfield.

Good evasive skills, quick decision making and is tallish at 192cm. A utility player who can maybe play anywhere. Hopefully the complete package.

I have faith in the recruiters. We will find out but i like what i see so far.

Brisvegas picked him at 24 in the phantom draft so he can't have been that far off the radar.

Interesting looking selection. Midfield? Not many play midfield at that height!

FJ just said he is a tall mid.

Has the attributes of a wingman - tall, skinny, good mark & disp rates.

Maybe they see him as a Grant Birchall type would that be fair

Re: Welcome Kamdyn McIntosh at pick 31

Apparently played some senior games in the midfield, there was one clip that had him roving the ruck's tap in the centre - Goodes is 194cm I think, he's not bad as a mid when he's not in the forward line.

Looks pretty good actually, surely we see something in him due to us selecting him. I could see him playing a tall midfield/running defender role. Reminds me a bit of a Grant Birchall type.

Maybe.

But we already have Grimes, Batchelor & Darrou, of that type.

Personally, the wing seems the best place for him early in his career.

Give him a chance to develop his game.

looks quite calm and composed and seems to make good decisions. has that silvagni bow leg running style and kicking action. where does he play? another back flanker? what are his stats like?
