Kamdyn McIntosh

McIntosh will be crushed if he continues to play in defence.
Sure, he has some deficiencies but his endeavour and general attack on the footy is encouraging.
He does have a bit of a tank so, like other posters, would like to see him play further afield.
Give him his head and he will have a decent crack and give it his all.

We can only hope that Kam being in defence is part of his learning and he is soon moved forward where he can do damage to the opposition. Never will be 'A' grade but a very good foot soldier a bit like Jacko in his prime year

Doing OK and hasn't, it seems, yet been Richmondnised.
Just reckon he would be a better contributor for the Tigers if he were played further afield.
He does appear to have an attitude and a competitiveness that many of his team mates lack.

Yeah had a big impact last year as a running wing. Great one on one and won many crucial contests in the middle of field that could've gone either way for a goal. Gained great yards with his pace instead of the sideways and backwards crap we see from our wings now and his kicking inside 50 was pretty impressive.

Playing in the backline right now isn't bad for his development and he's been good there but hopefully not pigeon holed as a defender.

One of the three or four big stories of the Hawthorn game. But not a simple one.

Un-noted on the board.

His ability and readiness to get a hand into free play was game-changing. But he failed in the air at times. Yeah, not an aerialist. But a winner in many other ways.

This is the thread that should be most alive tonight IMO. I can't nail it. Maybe somebody else can.

McIntosh was close to BoG for 80-90 of his best minutes. Third. Fourth?

I liked his game. I like him down back. I think he can be our third tall defender (he's 6'4). Problem is we don't have a second tall defender.

Played like John Stockton, spook. Hardcore pointguard dee. He influenced the game. I saw a new player tonight.

I have mixed feelings on him being in defence. He is one of our best gut runners (we are the worst in the league at this) so we need him further up the ground. Then on the other had he is accountable in defence, provides some run, and most importantly has a knack of the crunching spoil. He will hurt a lot of forwards if he stays back.

Agree, but i would rather him on the wing, we need his run.

Chuck him in the middle. Big unit with pace and aggression. It,s a no brainer. He can be the new Tuck but with break away pace.
