Kane Johnson has been put on the long term injury list

Robin's promotion is announced on the realfooty website today...they probably got the info from PRE.   The article, mentioning Ploak and Pettifer on the LTIL, has been posted on the Journos board.

Our problem isn't drafting it's development........

Agree entirely.

Did anyone hear Craig after Adelaide beat Collingwood on the weekend? The were talking about the body size of their group and how they had some really good 'kids' coming through who had been at the club for 4 or more years. He replied by saying something like, "yeah we have never worried too much about the draft, we just concentrate on developing what we have".

This sums up the problem at Richmond, our development of the youngsters is attrocious.

That's the problem.

Last year, he could have gone out in style, applauded by all.

His manager, et al, goads him into playing one more season.

Shame, damn shame, to go out this way.

Said he should have gone last year! And there are a one or two others that should have followed him.

Damn shame!

:clap

best wishes to KJ, hope he recovers and comes back strong for the second half of the season. Agree with the earlier poster, Kane was Captain and deserves respect. Good luck young Nahas, I'd like nothing better than to see a fast, agile small forward in our team. Please give the opposition something to worry about.

Good call, Tacobell

two rookies already elevated. were gonna run out of rookies to elevatesoon. good recruiting job tigers.
the cat is next to be elevated.............good help this club!!!!

i hope nahas is mentally strong

small forward is a very very very difficult role at tigerland

there are more 'previously popular' goals sneaks in the tigerland graveyard than executed coaches

KJ on the long term injury list? he should have been placed on the long term retirement list 3 years ago. i'm staggered he got another year this year. waste of a draft pick

didnt even know he was injured, shows you how much im paying attntion this year (member)
Johnson is classy, but to slow......deffinetly his last year

Johnson was the worse captain we've had in the last 30 years. never kicked the captains goal when needed, the only leading by example he did was with his skill errors. most teams want the ball in the hands of the captain when a game is in the balance, but not the tigers with johnson at the healm.

he's a nice guy and all so hopefully he gets a send off game towards the ends of the season when it doesn't matter anymore, but nothing is lost by writing him out of the richmond equation.

Indefinate I hope...but in saying that thanks for your services Kane, you can leave the club knowing your were notthe worst trade in.
