Kane Johnson, WTF?

Juffaricho said:
Not sure about that. At the moment Johnson's so called "experience and leadership" is valued by the club as we still have a lot of young mids but after another big preseason by the younguns his playing time will start to be chewed up by faster, younger bodies and his experience will have less value as Foley & Deleidio take over the leadership of that area. I expect Connors, Edwards and hopefully Collins to start taking serious game time of him next season and if 1 of Jackson or Polo take another step forward in their career he'll be a goner.

So you agree then he has 1 more year next year, I say he has probably two. Johnson didn't play midfield and we probably wont be seeing him as much in the middle in the future. In my opinion if you ar still playing good footy at 30 yo then there is no reason why you shouldn't keep playing. Plenty of youngsters coming through but they still have to prove themselves.

He may of made a few blunders but he lead up from half forward well and found plenty of it. Whoever he was on played loose.

havent been a fan of johnno for a few years now. is he worth p!ssing on? not likely. we have many better options as skipper.

Shocking Comment.

I thought Jonno was good last night, and has been for most of the year. Yes, there has been times where he has made the wrong decision (and last nights handball was definitely a big wrong), however, he is human, and everyone makes mistakes.

Will be happy for him to go on next year as skipper, really believe he is teaching the kids....
