He tried the skin head cut to look different and not to be recognised, but a right side that is non-existant will get him cut.
I never rated him in the first place. Couldn't see what all the fuss was about last season and all the calls to elevate him. I guess he can consider himself lucky that he made it to AFL but now he should drop back down to a suitable level like VFL. One sided and one paced and plenty of better options out there for a place on the list. See Ya House.

Worth his weight for his work ethic to get across to young ones.
I do admit his disposal is up and down at times. Seen him deliver very well into forward 50 in stretches, but also seen his disposal be a little erratic as well.
Keep for whis work ethic alone to start with.
I also think hes still fringe best 22, and there is plenty more to go first.

Voted delist, hoped he'd come on a little more in the relatively comfortable role he had this year. At 23 in January it's questionable how much improvement he has left in him. Maybe we could delist him and pick him in the rookie draft again as insurance.

Howat(a rookie) offers significantly more value than our number 12 draft pick from 2004 at this point.
He's only a year older than him BTW.

Howat has limited tools but he's a geuine contributor at least.
All I can see when comparing these two, is one player who's doing his best to take his opportunity and one who isn't.
Like Kingy I didnt think he had a chance at AFL but he has done a lot more then I could possibly have imagined,I still cant see him keeping our junior midfielders out of the side in 08 but good luck to him if he do's remain on the list,at least he will give the boys somebody to chase hard in the pre season

Still I would rather delist Howat than promote him and I would ALSO cut Meyer if we need the spot or if the coaching stqff have decided his attitude sucks. I think Howat is fighting Hyde for a spot and it may come down to the difference that Hyde is contracted and Howat isn't.
