Keep the faith you lot!!

When the times are good the bandwagon starts a rollin'.
When the going gets tough the weak jump ship !!!!!!!!!

We all know that was crap on Sunday.
Those that have given the Tiges the flick i say good ridence to.
They are exactly the character of person we no longer require at the club ( Supporters and Players alike !!)
They will surely be envious when we eventually turn the tide.

That's right have a go at the supporters who have stuck firm for so long.
How about opening up both eyes and taking a good look around you.
We all go every week but that doensn't mean we need to accept the performance this so called great club of ours dishes up year in year out....
The "band wagon" as you call it jump ship when things get bad,so how come we have just broken our all time membership record ?
Its because of our loyal support that Richmond are still alive in the competition but we cannnot continue to support this rabble by accepting their performance.
If only the players hurt as much as us supporters do, things may be different but no, they don't and they'll still get paid good money for pretending to play AFL.
Look within before you throw stones & I wouldn't hold my breath for the tide to turn

Well Gorillas, if this sits uneasy with you maybe i hit a nerve !
That post was not directed at anybody in particular.
But as you took offence to it you may like to question how deep the yellow and black run through your veins.
So have you given them the flick ?
If so, what happens when they are successful again, will you jump straight back up on your wagon ??
Or just sit and wallow in a puddle of deep regret ?

"A puddle of deep regret" - can I use that, HMH?

I reckon that's a winner! :clap

I'm only very new to this website but thought I'd put my 2 cents in.

I drive 3 and a half hours each way and pay my membership dues every year. Last night I went a saw the most disappointing game of football I have ever seen at top level in all my years.

I will not however be jumping off the bandwagon or calling for anyones head. I had three hours in the car driving home to think about what happend to us last night and while it was terrible - I still firmly believe that the yellow and black is headed in the right direction.

I will be attending the Essendon game as loud and as passionate as ever!

As an aside, how did the little fella cope with such an ordinary performance? I am sure he would have had a few pearls of wisdom that us oldies could take heart from.

Is telling a Richmond fan to keep the faith similar to telling someone with depression to cheer up??

I think the Saints got their following because they were *smile* for a long long time. I think the same might happen to the RFC, and if we get more members because we are *smile*, then I am all for it, just stick around for the ride 'cause it is usually an interesting one ;D

We arent *smile*. We are a good team and with some luck and less fade outs we would nearly be in the 8.

This is a great thread and i wanted to start it myself. There were lots of positives on sunday like Foley and like Gasses classy farewell speach on friday

I think that when we start to win premierships it will feel all the better because we have gone through tuff stuff together with Wallace and Miller leading us so well in the hard times.

IT will mean much more than premierships for sydney and the eagles because we have had to rebuild and not just pick up hidden gun players in the preseason draft that noone knows about.

I think that it's fair to say that after 72 years, Sydney's flag meant a fair bit.

Having said that, I love the Tigers and always will.

Eat 'em alive boys.

Well he fell asleep about half time.I think he felt the general feeling that was flowing through the Tiger members around us.
But he still wanted to hear our song on the way home.
Now he's just hanging out for the dreamtime game cause his grandmother barracks for the bombers and he loves giving her heaps.

I was there til stumps on Sunday & will be there til stumps at the next game in Melbourne. I will also cheer louder & longer than opposition supporters when things change in our favour because of the crap we are putting up with now and have put up with in the past.
