Straight swap fot Judd?

The person who decided to pick JON with pick 8 should be sacked. I too would be sacked if I showed that much incompetence.

You would also be sacked if you started maligning your junior staff because they weren't doing the job of a manager.

JON needs time to develop, simple as that.

Worst performed player with senior experience on the list in 2007. Only thing saving him from the chop is that he was taken at pick 8. A recruiting disaster so far.
*smile*, the thing saving him from the chop is the fact that he's still 19 and doesn't turn 20 until the start of next season

Sounds like you have seen zero games of JON play this year zerogame.
You are right, he is only 19, but he has been terrible this year. The average AFL listed player at 19 years old can hit the occasional target.
Maybe we should just give him til he is 25 to be sure he can't play.
FWIW, I voted trade, if one could be found. Would give another year if not, with an eye for huge improvement if not goodbye.

I don't think asking him to hit a target more often than not is expecting too much.

Unfortunately the ability to hit a target does not seem to be a requirement that RFC recruiters deem mandatory.

To me JON is the single most baffling selection of the last 15 years.

I can defend Fiora. I can defend Tambling. This one has no rhyme nor reason and lacks in so many areas. I just cannot figure out what we were going for with this pick. A KKP, a onballer, a running third tall , I have no idea. There were better players for every role.

Muppet Arms selection was more baffling IMO; especially considering who was the very next pick. JON runs a very close second though.

I would trade JON for a bag of 10 Sherrins and 25 red and yellow cones. I'd even try and put the squeeze on the team that we are trading him to for 30 fluro green training bibs.

All jokes aside. JON will not make it as an AFL player. Unfortunately, not even as an avaerge AFL player of the Mark Bolton type. I think we cut our losses now. He is bad, really bad. I've seen enough.

Big test this Saturady. Lets see if he can nulify one of the big Geelong forwards.

I dont think he can.

Why is the majority with keeping him. I know he is a young bloke but he was a first round draft pick two years ago and hasn't shown enough. He seems to be able to get the footy but can never do anything with it. In the games I saw in the VFL finals didn't show anything but knowing how to give the ball to the opposistion. I know it may take players a longer time to develop but at this stage I can't see him in our best 22.

And yet you want to keep Krak.

The draft camp metric I like is "get the ball and give it to someone" Oh thats right they don't measure that one.

JON seems to get it but hasn't been introduced to Sum Wun yet.
