Tis easy to follow a team who is succesful lika Blunders with all the money and corporate clowns but you need a Tiger heart to follow Struggletown .

I'm never giving up on the Tigers .

AFL is not the same without Richmond there in September.

Stand up be defiant, passionate and proud to be a Tiger. :clap :)

barracked for the tiges since i was a kid and im from WA! switched to eagles in '87as it was the thing all sandgropers did but came back to my senses the following season as i found it incredibly tough to cheer with gusto like i did the tiges.

anyway i was actually wondering if i'd made the right decision in '92 when the weagles won and the tiges were languishing but im glad to say i stuck firm and still continue to be a passionate Tiges supporter

got my usual post game texts yesterday from all me ol mates in WA, rubbing the salt in :hihi

You're what I think a real supporter is blx, its the supporters that have stuck with the RFC through the dark ages that can sing the loudest come the good times, and they are coming. Keep being loud and proud.

It is the first rule of life in Melbourne. Never trust anyone who has changed football teams during their lives. Supporting a team is DNA for all but the untrustworthy.

Why would Tiger fans not hold their heads up right now? We have an emerging list, a future superstar, a quality coach and have improved incrementally over the last two years. We have given valuable experience to a large group of kids and are well-placed to continue our climb up the ladder.

Twenty five years of crap is a lot to bear and those who delight in the despair of the Tiger fan are out again, making their usual smarmy observations.

Is it just me or do they sound less convinced about themselves this year?

Bring on 2007! The Tiger cubs have the smell of fear in their nostrils. In 2007 they will taste blood!

There are occasional exceptions TOT70...

My best friend was ostensibly a Carlton person when we met, having just picked a team to say she had one when asked (kind of a Victorian prerequisite) - never really following it.

I have since shown her the way of the tiger, she's passionately interested in the footy now, actually knows the players' names and numbers' and gets in a funk when we lose just like the best supporters. And she refers to RFC as "us". :)

I'd trust her with my life.
