Kelvin Moore - Wheres he at?

Moore has certainly been less effective this year, maybe carrying a niggle but has been below last year since round 1.

Maybe hes in a bit of a comfort zone following a good year and making the leadership group maybe its a possibility hes just relaxed bit and taken the foot off the pedal.

He was playing for his life last year.

A tall 188cm defensive flanker being played as an undersized FB.

Thought 188cm FBs went out with Kelvin Moore Snr's decline.
yep agree. being asked to fight out of his weight and height division week after week its grouind him down. his match up should have been lovett murray.
funny isnt it essendon have managed to bring thru pears hooker and have hurley to come. theres no worries about there kpds gumbleton myers a tall running type and of course the old stager in fletcher. and mcphee more a running type imo but of genuine height. its a huge investment in tall defensive types no wonder we cant compete for quality when you look at what we are prepared to invest.

While Moore is probably carrying injuries I reckon a more significant factor is the lack of support that Thursty, Moore and McGuane used to give each other. I'd pay those 3 plus Rance in defence, the Cats have shown that a tall strong defence works so long as they maintain their structure.

Kel had an ordinary night when he was getting the footy. Had a ball bounce between his legs, and fumbled another handpass (a hot one admittedly) a good 20 metres before it went out of bounds.

Thanks Mr Lee, I just hoped that him falling to the ground in a couple of contests whilst his opponent didn't was just bad timing on my behalf. Obviously not, he is definitely off the boil this year.

Didn't see much of the game last night, but what I did see was average at best. For those that saw the whole game, how was Kel?
Ordinary,2nd half was a bit better

Whilst he didnt provide much run he certainly had the better of Lynch on the night.

Solid game.

the problem isn't kel moore, he' not a full back. we need thursty to step up.

well Ian hard for thursty to step up considering he's only played a few games and thats more to do with TW like Polo of last year, i would say he's game last week against johnson was quite good, backing into packs to take marks and spoiling numerous marking attempts from bulldogs players...

The thing is he is the problem at the moment K.Moore, last year it was a break out year this year is unforgettable, even he's half assed attempt to tackle Natanui which resulted in a goal to priddis and he fell to ground to easily ala troy simmonds, this isa player down on confidence, even the ball going through his legs on the wing area and up the other end when he just tried to pick up the ball and by tapping it fwd no one behind him it was perceived pressure and the ball went out of bounds where the eagles cheer squad was...
