*Was mentioned to Kent that the playing group were very keen to get Kent on Board.Kent had heard of such.
*Is impressed with Foley.Didnt know much of Foley while at Geelong but has nothing but praise for Foley along with Lids.
*The "Boss" is a great communicator and knew exactly where he stood either way come draft day.
*Owns a pub with Scarlett at Geelong.
*Is about 21st in the pre-season ladder.

cant remember anything else.Driving at the time

Thanks Captain. Bit off topic and a big call, but Foley could become one of the great midfielders by the end of this year..................

Huge call Skippy! - Axel is improving - no question on that - but off season champions are not reliable guides - nor can I recall anything the Kenster has said in the past as being 'gold' ;).

If Axel is an 80 minute rotational midfielder getting 20 plus possies, half then gives from the inside, RFC will be plenty happy with Axel's progress. One of the great midfielders, that takes a little longer - talk to us again in a couple of years ;D

Let's hope he can follow through because all the ingredients are there (except height!). He really seems to have bulked up more than most and has proven to have a great aerobic capacity, is as tough as nails and is much quicker than any of us thought. Could we have discovered a fairly large missing link (or a small one) whichever way you choose to look at it.

He is one of our most important players.
He is not just having a off season improvment,he was getting better and better after every game last year it is his time.

People starting calling Hodge one of the great midfielders of the competition from one season...They started calling Adam McFee one of the great sweepers off the Half back line from one season as well. All you need is one season, then in that season you are great.
