It's true he would then some people might get off Tivva's back. I hope Kent is fit & well cause he'll have everyone on his back before he even plays a game just like every kid we draft. Who here wants to drop Casserley after he's first year or say he'd better get his act together next year. Despite the fact he was injured most of the year and never got going. There's constructive criticism and then there's lunacy which describes almost everyone on here ;)

Am I missing something here? Possibly just that news doesn't make it to the NT sometimes. Is KK training with us or are there rumours we'll go him in the PSD or something? What's the story?

what a lot of dribble nowhere have i seen anyone have a go at casserly. tivendail cops it because put quite simply he is a dud and has shown this to be the case for most of his career.

Come off it claw it's been posted on here about how disappointing casserley looked this season that's crap it was his first year and he was injured what do we expect from our kids 30 possesion 4 goal games each week, some of the expectations on here are so unrealistic it's not funny.

I think it was that Hawk come tiger come tassie hawk poster by the name of evestone who labelled Casserley as a dud.

cant say ive seen negative posts on casserly but if there are some all i can say to those posters is put a sock in it. probably brightsiders every recruit according to them is a champion and when they dont perform straight away the old hackles go up.

Got to admit I try to keep up with a lot of the threads but I haven't read anything about much negative about Casserley either.  You seem to be generalising a bit.  Regardless, lets turn your comment around and focus on your personal viewpoint.  Hypothetically, if Casserley has another year where he is predominantly injured what would your view of his future be, still shining or would would you have some doubts.  This isn't a question confined to Casserley, Knobel and Moore (if he is kept) will both be under the pump this year to prove that they can sustain AFL levels of fitness.  If they are both unavailable again in 2007 like they were in 2006, then I wouldn't expect them to be at the club in 2008.

Even unproven players out for a full year from injury are fine in most people's opinions that I have read - but if they are out for two years then the dogs start to yap.  Look at Nathan Brown - he has basically been off for two years and comments are being made that he will never be back to what he was.  I personally don't believe that but I do need to see it proven wrong.

I havent seen anyone criticise Casserly. Geez he had op most of the year. Not many people are that unforgiving!
For those that saw his footage from draft night, I would imagine they, like me, are happily waiting for him to be fit and firing.
Zero doubts on him at this stage. In effect it is his first year.

Actually lets draft Kingsley so with him, Hyde, Hall, Tivendale, Gaspar, Pettifer and Krakouer going around we should finish bottom 4 and have a realistic chance at drafting young Kreuzer in Nov 07 as well as drafting another 5 quality kids.

Yep i'll take another 12 months of pain for that result, more kids an SANS DUDS!! :hihi
