Perhaps the Cats have become "protected" species after the GF?

Unless Kerr walks and we get him in the PSD, under no circumstances should we trade a 1st round draft pick for him.

Let's draft and nurture our own future stars. You have to look no further than Delidio and Cotchin to see what can be achieved in the pointy end of the draft. Hopefully both players will go on to be stars at the club for 10+ years and embrace the club in the process. We'll always see them as Richmond players and identities through and through long after they retire.

This year's draft looks great. Why not use our 1st round pick on the best available (hopefully key tall or mid) option? Even our recruiters shouldn't stuff up the really low pick.

Don't give up a 1st round pick for Kerr when we should be strongly on the youth pathway.
