On 7 news tonight.

Sheedy's first official day on the job was today.

Joel, Rainesy and Cuz were with Sheedy on the Punt Rd Oval. Sheeds teased Cuz about wearing singlet and said he hadn't seen those since 1963. Cuz replied it's all he could afford lol.

Job is to recruit more sponsors and members. He wants the club to have the biggest membership base. :clap :)

Sheeds also said he's happy to be a mentor and someone to chat to for any player.

Sheeds back on the 7 news tonight

Channel 7 news tonight had a short story from Punt Rd. Was reported as Sheeds first official day back at the RFC. Joel Bowden and Andrew Raines were also there for the cameras. Then the Cuz rocked up and shook hands with Sheeds. Sheeds pulled at Cuz's white singlet saying "I used to wear these in 1963!" to which Cuz laughed. A great moment. Ch 7 said something like the 2 big catches had been landed.
Was lucky to hear about the promo of Seven news on Triple M. I normally watch Ch 9 news but their footy stories have diminished greatly now they don't show the footy, so I don't know if it was on Ch 9 news as well. Maybe need to give Ch 9 the flick and just watch 7 news for the greater AFL content.

Has anyone else noticed this about Ch 9 (less AFL news) or am I wrong ?

Sheeds is an absolute megastar.

Success is on the horizon when people like him have involvement in your club.

Richmond has not been the same for a very long, long time.
