Pending if Shultz pulls his finger out this year,Who knows a Shultz-Meeson swap might be on the cards.

Surely you're joking right? Terrible trade ::)
Why? What has Shultz done apart from one game? Yes he,s had injuries but if he continues not to step up this year then his head may be on the chopping block.I know TW didnt rate him before he become our coach.
I remember TW on the radio after one game saying that Skip an I think it must have been the next couple of weeks the Brissy game came up,

Would depend on how players like Jay, Patto, Moorey, Will, Gus etc come on during the season.

Forget Graham and big doubts on Moore also.

Its is very feasible both of these blokes will get it in the neck at seasons end unless they have a massive turnaround especially Graham, and when you throw in Gaspars probable retirement the cupboard is threadbare for depth in the height department both KP and Ruck.

Got a feeling we may have to trade for a ruck ie Meeson or Woods ect as we wont be able to grab the likes of a Kreuzer anyway even though he is very highly rated.

Danny Meyer

I rate the kid Meyer Oldie but he needs to extract the digit somewhat and is definately a player that can provide the tigers with a whole lot of poise skill and pace, but he has to step up this year.
Only has one year deal so has to make an impact, is a Sth Aussie so a poor year could see him offered West, and i'd put Schulz in the same position if he has another wasted year regardless of his contract.

Schulz is a very important element of our list with the lack of quality talls we have and the even bigger dearth of them i will predict we may have of them come seasons end. He is a player above many that the tigers need to stand up as the club would have a huge hole come draft time in the list if he was traded.

Somehow Jays size and 2 year contract will for mine (looking from the clubs position) save him from a trade.

That said he needs to perform to stay imo.

Maybe we could throw Hall and Tivendale at em ;)

If Schulz has a really bad year(which I doubt) then sure he's an option as well.
Both players will want to be well established in the 22 by seasons end or they could be seen as trade bait.
Unlike some other players on our list the former dp12s would have some value.

They've got the ability, it's the desire that's under question.

A decision will need to be made on Graham at the end of the year...this is his last year on the rookie list. Depending on his form, you would say he is likely to get an upgrade to the senior list with a couple more years to develop there. I would then replace his spot on the rookie list with another ruckman. The rookie list should be our ruckman factory.

He might have repeated it on radio. He mentioned it during the u/18 champs on Foxfooty.Im pretty sure the subject was brought up when he was 1st appointed,Amazing how things change when you put on your Richmond cap ;D
