lack thereof - chickens came home to roost. Looked to Bowden again to pin a key forward down - have we gone nowhere?
Cost the game. McGuane and Moore honest toilers - no Glass, Scarlett, bock or Rutten do we have - or even Merrett for that matter

Port moved it in quick which put these guys under the pump, how many times did ebert just pump the ball into their 50? But without thursty we dont look complete.

No it was good coaching by Williams to put Chad Cornes, Treadrea and Ebert deep in the last, he knew he had to kick goals and we didn't have the personnel to stop 3 marking forwards.

If you recall Polak slaughtered Treadrea last year. We have Thirsty, Post and Rance developing, one game doesn't make a season and KPP back is still not the prioirty need for a club, lord know we have a few.

Fair point but i dont see how the number of them that we have is relevant

Bowden, Raines and the Umpires cost us the game.

Motlops goal was after McGuane was pushed in the back. Cornes goal came from a Tredrea throw and how many times did Port players get tackled and drop the ball only for play on to be called.

Raines was woeful, I mean if your going bad the least you can do is man up right, while I lost count of the amount of times Bowden fell over in a one on one contest.

I would add the coach whose decision it was to leave Bowden on Treadrea, that matchup was always a ticking time bomb

Everyone slaughtered Treadrea last year.

Disagree. Bowden didn't have his typical 40 possession game, but once he was moved, he shut down Treadrea. Moore and McGuane had 5 goals kicked on them by Treadrea, Bowden 2. Moore was disapointing, two weeks in a row he has not been able to handle a key forward.

How far away is Polak anyway?

Yep, wasn't really something for a KPD to put on their resume.

Bowden didn't do a bad job on Tredrea at all. I felt we missed Rance badly today. He has the toe to ensure that the Port plan of moving it in quickly would not have been as easy to achieve.

I also reckon that *smile* might have been a good match up for Tredrea today as well.

True, but he didn't just beat him, he got a lot of run going the other way. Best game he ever played for the club I thought.

Bowden did the job when we were dominating and their was no supply, the clock was always ticking once they got some ball to Treadrea Joel would be exposed

Actually made the best for Couburg twos, but if he ever plays more than one more AFL game it would be a surprise and a bonus.

STRUCTURE we have none thank god it rained today definately prevented a slaughter. where was the 193 195cm 95kg kpd to play on tredrea.
people say post wasnt he recruited as a chf.that to me is where he will play. i keep asking if two or 3 go down or form is terrible where are the back up players in the system.

as of this minute as far as i am concerned we have 4 ruckmen. one a 31 yr old.so in effect 3 longterm,
3 kpfs one a 34 yr old, so in effect 2 long term.
3 kpds
every other tall on the list needs to be turned over and those two 30 yr olds as well.

if we get 10 new faces including rookies this yr we should go 1 ruckman. 3 kpfs 2 kpds 4 onballers. this is assuming nahas and browne get promoted. which would make 12 to the list proper.
how do we do this 4 rookies picks hopefully 2 18 19 35 51 67. io will leave it at that personally i would be looking to use pick 2 in the psd and pick 83 or earlier if we could trade into one.

come the 2010 draft i would look to repeat the process. this would take the list of talls to 20 after delistings.
from there we can then prune thru who we wish to keep.
