Key Match ups

The key to winning will be holding Lloyd.

By forcing the Dons to go the long way home, and not down the middle will frustrate their forwards. Last week against Carlton, the Bummers used the corridor, this opened the game up and exposed the Blues weakness and that was, no midfield.

This week it'll be a much stronger and improved midfield the Bummers will face, but I expect a shoot out from both sides.

You must catch SEN from where you are.

Actually, it was noted on the radio tonight on my drive home from work that there was talk about Hird being 'sore'. I wonder what they meant by that. :headscratch

Leysys gotta be a touch worried at the suggestions of Jackson playing on Hird this week. (Especially if as some posters are suggesting that some tough stuff will help).

Hird has made an artform of making teams look stupid when trying to rough him up, its the last thing we want to do.

Jackson has generally improved in the past 3 mths, however Hirds football smarts (which are 2nd to none) will take Jacko to the cleaners.

As much as Newman struggles on guys with any semblance of toe, he could & hopefully should get Hird this week. At least until James goes into the middle, then well we cross our fingers. Cos that'll be the danger.

Gee, with Meyer and Schulz in, and Fletcher out, our forward line could be very very dangerous.
