Kick-in tactics after a behind is scored

Chris Newman is a big kick, so why don't we use this to our advantage more often when we kick-in after a behind is scored. The short kicks
out of defence where we turn it over often result in goals against us. Why can't we setup a plan where Newman kicks long out of the goal square to Richo or another good set of hands somewhere near or outside the 50 line. Tell the midfielders to hang around certain players during a kick-in in case of a spilled mark.

I realise that if it was done too often it other teams could plan for it, but I don't think we do it often enough. I've seen Newman kick-in and send
it almost to the goal square.

On a similar topic, is it me, or does it seem like other teams get out of their forward 50 after a kick-in too easily?

On your first point - i would think they may have considered this master stroke at some stage, between the 4 of them.

Your most accurate point is that other teams could plan for it.

And finally if you are suggesting other teams carry the ball out of Richmond's forward 50 too easily - you are indeed a very shrewd man (or woman)

Because we have been working hard all summer on one of the most potent tactics in the game. Jordy to bowden in the back pocket, straight back to jordy, who passes to Newman in the other back pocket, back to jordy who fumbles, turnover, goal!
