Kim was not not not funny and was so bad I was embarassed for him and everyone who had to put up with him.
Jimoein fixed him up perfectly saying thank you to him for warming up the room for him.
( Kim had frozen it)
Surely someone who can't get a laugh at the GF breaky is so out of touch with people that he couldn't be a potential PM.

The North Melbourne Grand Final Breakfast has become an embarrassment and is deperately in need of an overhaul. I've been to a couple and boy can they get tedious, especially when the pollies waffle on and the comedians aren't funny.

Agree billybobthornton, I was cringing when Beazley spoke.

Language was so not football, if you gave him a footy and asked him to handball, he gave the impression he would hold it side on.

yeh he did suck

switched over to 9 who werent much better

lol at people who actually get up at 6 to go to these things

There is no way that man will lead this country.

I didn't watch it or know what he said. But he's a politician, so after his people viewed the reaction to his speech, they would have sacked his speechwriter and got a few spin doctor's in to try and deflect the damage elsewhere. ;)

Or, bite the bullet & ditch him for Kevin Rudd, so they may have the slightest chance of being competitive at the next election.

How I long for a decent opposition in our country.

Howard can currently do as he likes and that isn't healthy.

Kim is a waste of space and the ALP is a laughing stock whilst he's the leader.

Please, not Rudd. Saw him on TV last night crapping on about Christian values and heap of other rubbish. Tosser!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah it would be a terrible thing to have Christian values in this country. Imagine people being taught that it is wrong to steal, or murder someone, or for people to treat others the way they would like to be treated. That sounds like a terrible reality. :help

I didn't think Kimbo was that bad, but the crowd was very cold, in fact it is a notoriously cold crowd. A lot of far better comedians than Kim Beazley  ;D  have fallen flat at that brekky. I think it has something to do with: a) the size of the crowd b) the time of day and c) the lack of alcohol at said time of day.

That said, surely it's time for Julia Gillard.  :D

Aren't we getting enough of this with Johnny already?

Poor old Beazles. Heard him interviewed on SEN about the Dockers a few weeks back. All he seemed to do was chuckle nervously.

Went to the footy breakfast, wasnt too bad. Best part were the songs when the guests walked on. Especially liked the choice for Beasley 'food, glorious food'. Thought two of the comedians were good, the others were crap, especially that comedian compere, who was he? Got more silences then at a Marcel Marceau performance
