He may not have an AFL players height or and AFL players skill level, but he's got one of the biggest AFL hearts at the club.

That's exactly what's wrong with Richmond. We need to stop keeping guys in the side simply because they have a big heart. For christ's sake, what do you people want 22 guys with a heart but who can't kick a ball? We need to stop getting these players on our list. We have an over abundance of them already.

:pullhair

We have an over abundance of heart? show me where...

Tuck, Coughlan, Johnson, Hyde, Foley, King, Howat, Jackson to begin with. I'm sure, with another 30 seconds, I could add a few more names.

Can't see an agressor or someone who loves a physical contest in any of those names, expect maybe Foley. What King has, that we are sorely lacking, is someone who lets the opposition know he's there at all times.

I'd give you Foley, Cogs, KING, and maybe Tuck and Howat... Of those, Cogs isn't playing atm, Howat's disposal is poor, not as quick and hard at it as King, so i'd hardly call that an over abundance...

I think King was instrumental in turning the game our way toward the end of the game. Some guys can break games open with their explosiveness through the midfield or taking contested marks up forward, King did it with forward pressure that I have never seen before from a Richmond player. And it was contageous as I noticed that other players started putting the pressure on in the forward line as well. I thought I was watching Sydney play it was that good for that period.

King, having ok, good on him, but whatever. Edwards, classy looking, adapting quickly, but oh sooooooo slight! This is not news I know that, but we need about 5 more mids of Edwards class or better PLUS with decent AFL type bodies.

By heart, I'm not talking about people who want to knock someone out - that's aggression. I'm talking someone who tries all day, isn't afraid to get their own ball, will put their body on the line to get it etc.

It matters not whether cogs is playing at the moment, as you're looking at the entire list. All of those blokes above are happy to go get the ball, they'll run all day and try their heart out for the team, but they all have something in common. All of them have at the very, very, very best, average disposal\decision making. Could probably add Matty White to the list as well.

With that many, almost a quarter of the list, it's no wonder we have issues with skill errors etc costing us games.

king is just another tim fleming

edwards on the other hand is class who will add polish going forward
