I reckon they'll bring in Pettifer. He's part of the leadership group and he missed from suspension not from being dropped. I'd prefer Hughes.

They should bring back Pettifer... At least he has proven that he can kick goals when he gets the ball!

Wallace has apparently said this week that Bowden will not necessarily come straight back in. Hopefully this includes Pettifer as well.

His comment at the press conference was in relation to all the people who missed last week. Something along the lines of, if they had 0 tackles the week before, and people had made a physical impression against the dockers in a 10 goal win, it would be hard to drop them.

Of course, Wallace :spin versus reality = a big ???

Good to see Terry handling the media well again. :-[

PRE has a significant percentage of fans who wanted him sacked last week, a reasonable indication of the feelings of the rank and file and yet the media are making up stories to put pressure on clubs (read Terry Wallace) simply to make better stories.

I reckon Terry thinks that he's scoring points against the media while he's in a strong position, just as the media scored points against him last week when he was comparatively weak.

He's the one in fantasy land.

Coming off a spoon and with the slow starts we've had he was in the gun. Nothing short of a record away win could have improved that overnight.

Agree Jack.
I'm all for Wallace being confident in his abilities but the reality is right now
he's a wooden spoon winning coach!
Of course the media were going to apply the blowtorch. :spin

As for pettifer he can cool his heels at Coburg until someone in the forward line loses form.
Make the slackarse work for his spot.

Would like to see Pettifer spend sometime at Coburg playing in the guts. Can't afford to have 26 year old, first round draft picks who are specialist half forward flankers. Time for him to start putting his head over the ball and winning the hard ball.
