Where is Knobel at, do you think he will be at Richmond next year as he has been out/injured this year?

Was injured again in the Coburg match.  Unsure how seriously but does anyone thnk he's very injury-prone, or is he just having an unbelievably bad run.
Strained his quad. Just a bad run I reckon this year. It started with a broken leg from one of his kids landing on it, didn't it? :don't know

Decision time! do we keep him, because we still need support for Troy. Can he be effective? If not, trade and get the WA's Gardiner.

With Gardiner's knee the way it is, he would probably play less games than Knobel anyway.

personally i dont like players who cant do the basics well i tend to call them duds. knobel fits this category and hence hes very tradeable or delistable.
having said this i think ntheres a place in the team for the knob. i would guarantee he would more than hold his own against sandilands cox king and the other big units out there in ruck situations.to me its not should we get rid of him but how do we use him.

Knobel must come up and become effective.  Not only is Troy good around the ground, he is imposing at FF or CHF. He will dominate that position, while he's there, we need to cover for him.  Patterson needs more time to develop, when he went into the ruck, essendon capitalised with three quick goals.
