PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Had a blissfully enjoyable lazy Easter Sunday packed with footy and a quickly improving relationship with the couch. Had the chance to watch our next two opponents after the Dawgs (Dees and Roos) in action. In a word - they were both deplorable.

Melbourne - geez, where do you start. They have virtually no consistent winners in any part of the ground. I like Bate and Davey but there seriously is nothing else there. Yes, it's a funny game but we should wallop this mob.

North - Harding and Hale are down with injuries and Harvey is currently a shadow of his best. They have beaten only Melbourne and didn't look a chance against the Hawks who have massive injury issues. Didn't fire a shot after the distraction of "chickengate" and that shinboner spirit is just not so evident at the moment.

It got me to thinking that this game against the Dawgs presents a massive opportunity. If we can find a way to win this one there's a real possibility to be 3-2 and in the eight with a decent draw ahead of us.

Opportunity is banging down the door, Tigers. Wallace asked to be judged on the month ahead after the Blues debacle - well here is the chance to earn a favourable judgement. We simply cannot accept an honourable loss - win this match Tigers. It could just be the turning point. For me TW - this is our crunch game. Our season is on life support ... but there's still a pulse. Lift!
