I'm amazed based on the form of the this season that anyone could even compare the two. Tivendale has had overall a very very good year. Krakouer has gone backwards. No team would pick Krakouer over Tivendale surely.

you dont get dropped 3 times if you have a very very good year

edwards is doing the same stuff on a wing and is 10 years younger, krak on the otherhand after a solid showing in the NAB 15 has failed to meet TW's expectations of a permanent midfield role, amazing how that didnt work out ::)

this poll should be renamed death by hanging or torture?

Krak has had plenty of time to prove that he can play for 4 quarters and be a valuable player and he hasn't done it.
Tivendale works a hell of a lot harder, he's more reliable around goals than Krak this season as well. I disagree that Tivendale wouldn't be useful in a good side, he's a frontrunner and with better players around him to cover his deficiencies and take the pressure off him he'd be a useful finisher.

Tiver's has been dropped a few times because of midfield rotations. :hihi

Agree 100%

Krakouer should be the first we get rid of - Nothing has worked to motivate him - He is a good VFL player nothing more.

It will sadden me greatly if he survives the Cull - TW would have lost me totally.

AS for Tivva I'm actually a closet fan - Hes best 22 IMO and always has been - In saying that I understand others not thinking the same.

As long as we don't have any more Tivvas in the team at once - theres nothing wrong with having him. They all can't be Foleys.

One time he didnt play for family reasons, the first time he was dropped for a poor game (or was he injured), and last week god knows why he was dropped after racking up 23 and 25 possessions the previous two weeks. This year he has averaged over 20 possessions a game, ranked 4th on the list and 7th for average tackles, and I for one have noticed the concerted effort to improve that part of his game. His kicking to position has been a lot better this year too. I agree, that Tivendale has under-performed in his career but don't believe that this year is one of them, and yes it is a pity that it has taken this long to be where he should be. At 28 his time is now limited for sure. He could probably go a bit longer as he's more of an outside player but the Tigers will and should look to the longer term future, where I agree the likes of Edwards should be (and are) getting a crack at the big time.

So the short of yes, I do believe Tivendale has had a very very good year, in fact probably his best at the Richmond FC. Maybe dropping him a couple of times has induced that.

I think the fact we are looking to the future is why he's been getting dropped - despite his above average year.

Tivs doesnt go around belting people... oh wait we're talking on field.. Tivs to stay anyday, he doesnt deserve the crap he gets on here
Kraq deserves it - one big hack.. proven on his last chance on sat - cant cut it

Tivendale deserves every bit of crap he gets on here. There should be no choice between the two, both must go.

so you beleive he has had a good year based on a few stats?

i like to look at other things like how much leadership and inititive he is showing on the field which is not much from what i have seen, its easy to bring up all the stats you want but you dont mention how 2 young kids in foley and deledio have been getting smashed by tags every week and when we need a senior player like tivendale to stand up he is no where to be seen

will end up with a nice return next to his name in the morning after papers but in the context of the match he is a liability that we could do without

like many around him at the club he is a vfl hero who cant step it up with the big boys when its his turn

Good post Rock7, Tivendale may have had the ball many times, but it's what he does with it that annoys me. No leadership as well, he's as soft as they come, and his being dropped indicates that Wallace is sick and tired of a senior player not delivering and not helping out the younger guys on the field. It would be great, we've got rid of Gaspar, now Tivendale hopefully, it's a major step forward.

Tiv struggles for a Kick against Sydney and Terry knows. It would have been a factor in his omission last week.
