Krak/ Pett!

As well as kicking 17 this year how many goals has Pets set-up? It was at least two yesterday. I would say it would be close to 17 as well. Not a bad effort. His deliver into the forward line is first class and so is his kicking from a set shot.

The bloke is doing his job so get off his back!!! Until he stops doing that some of you people need to pull your heads in.

How about having a look at the bloke who playing on Matera? Killed us.

Cannot believe some of the things I read here. Hasnt anyone noticed that Kayno has been kicking numerous CRUNCH goals this year, including yesterday. He has a touch of class about him, the boy from Kyabram. 17 goals this year and counting. Don't worry about the critics Kayno, keep sticking it up 'em!

Thankyou Jake! Finally someone dares to mention Jackson, a player who gets the best treatment on PRE. He had a shocker yesterday, and his loose play on Matera directly led to two goals. Why this guy's name is brought up everytime we have a problem or need to bring someone in is beyond me. I know that he was in the MCG sprint comp at the grand final, but on yesterday's effort he looked like he'd been listening to Wayne Campbell as a sprint coach.

Jackson was not the worst & hasn't been given enough ground time.Supporters have short memories on some of the tough jobs he had last year while Gaspar couldn't move.Didn't think he was a suitable matchup for Matera.Amazing there ids all this defence of Hilton but when it comes to a youngster like Jackson we are quick to criticise.

But my point is that we aren't quick to criticise Jackson. Maybe I am, but no-one else seems to be. Now whether I am wrong or right is irrelevant, the point is that the criticism levelled at him is nowhere near what other players who made a more valuable contribution yesterday receive.

Jackson has played like 15 games he needs time to mature as a footballer at the elite level

Granted terry but Pettifer has only played 37 games at the start of the year.

yeah i know that and im not one to knock pets i love the way he plays the game i think with another year under his belt he will really come in to his own. Watching him yesterday he still looked abit timid.

What did you guys think of hilts yesterday. He wasnt on for long but he showed glimpses of something i hope he stays in the 1sts for another week at least.

Must be given another game, his fitness level isn't up to the other guy's missing so much footy. This game(second half) I believe was the best game of the round by far, just the speed the ball was travelling up and down the ground (did anybody see cousins spewing about 20 minute of final quarter). I was watching on TigerTV and flicked to the Swans v Carlton game to get a score and it was like watching VFL.

i think the problem was with the coach ing the first half.... I mean we got back in the game when PETicoat and Krak played in teh forward line.... which they didnt do for much of the game.... Need small forwards in forward line in todays game - simple as that...

ALSO think Petticoat had a bag first half because of his SHOCKING PERFORMANCE on the footy show.... that must never ever be allowed to happen again...

didn't see that, what happened?

Did he mean Jacko or Chris Newman?  Matera had 6 of his total 13 possesions, including one goal, in the first quarter before Daniel was even on.  I can't see who was on Matera when he kicked his second goal in the second quarter but Newmo stood the mark.

Jacko's first, second and third effort beat Matera at one stage.

It was Matera's fourth effort that got the goal.

Get off Jacko's back.

Alright maybe I'm being a bit harsh on the kid, but there were two occasions where the amount of space that Jackson gave matera lead to 2 goals from clearances. Newman wasn't too flash either, but this goes back to our need for a defender who can play well on small forwards. Hopefully Jackson's poor to average game yesterday was a result of him being played out of position.

pets and krak were servicable yesterday. pets, krak, cambo and paris kicked a combined 7 goals yesterday. that more than covered for browny this week. but can they keep it up for the remainder of the season?
